Family Love

Yesterday Kaleb & I headed to the Cities. It was so relaxing and fun. My Dad, Mom, Anna & Joel spent the day with us. We played at the park, walked around the pond looking for ducks, and just hung out. Family is simply the BEST!

Bumps & Bruises

I suppose I'll have to get used to the occasional (hopefully) bumps & bruises associated with having a little boy! Tonight Kaleb & I were out walking Sam- he HAS to help hold the leash now and we walk at a painfully slow pace for Sam & he took his first tumble of the summer. He hopped up, brushed his knee off, and shook it off. I think I was more sad than he was....but if a scrape can be cute, his sure is!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful Mom!! I wouldn't be half the mom I am today without such an amazing one while I was growing up. And no matter how old I get, when in crisis, I always still call my mom :) It just feels like she always knows what to say & helps me fix my problem!! Thanks for all you do for me- Love you Mom!!

As for my Mother's Day, it was BLISS!! I spent the day with my boys out for a walk, eating at my favorite restaurant & topped it off with a malt from the Malt Shoppe!!

Friends...

It's always hard to find a balance in life between every thing...Kaleb, Joe, work, exercising, etc

This weekend I got the chance to visit one of my closest friends...& even though it rained & was cloudy my whole trip-- it was GLORIOUS!! I was a non-responsible person who could just kick back & relax. Even though I didn't get the lovely warm temps & sun I was hoping for....it was still bliss!!

Thank you friend for an AMAZING time....can't wait until you're back in the Midwest!!

The Great Outdoors!

We've got a little boy that LOVES being outside. He hops out of the car & runs down the driveway everyday after school. We have to haul him inside, kicking & screaming to eat dinner. As soon as he's finished- he's back at the closet trying to get his shoes and jacket out so he can escape the house again!! Thank goodness we live on a cul-de-sac...there is no traffic so he runs up and down the street. His newest favorite outdoor activity is pulling his wagon from Grammy & Grampy :)
