5 Weeks Old!

Ive been slacking on my updates, but we've been a busy family!!

We are thoroughly enjoying every minute of Gavin (except maybe those late night/early morning feedings....but he's so darn cute I can't get too mad)! He's growing & changing so fast-- holding his head up, more awake time, & close to or just over 11 pounds!! 

We took our first trip to the Cities last week. Kaleb & Gavin had so much fun with family and a trip to the Children's Museum. While we were playing, Daddy was making good on a deal back at home. He got to bring a deer in the house, so I got a stoned fireplace & book shelves :)

Life Is Good!

We are home & settling into life as a family of four :) Kaleb is taking his big brother duties seriously...he always makes sure Gavin has his stuffed elephant, likes to "pet " him, asks to hold him 100 times a day, and constantly refers to him as "my baby Gavin." Gavin continues to be an amazing baby...he really only cries when his diaper is being changed & he is being so so so kind to his Mommy at night. So far he is only waking two times a night to eat!! 

Joe & I are figuring out how to be parents to TWO kids (we still are shocked at times we have TWO)!! I'm so lucky my boys have such a fun & loving Daddy :) The craziest part is getting out the food to go places....perhaps we should just bring everything we own?!?! Seems like we basically pack the car to the gills, even if we're just leaving for a shirt trip. Oh well....however crazy, we're loving every second of it!!

He has been absolutely perfect so far-- I even got to sleep for 4 straight hours last night!! Kaleb seems to be adjusting well to our newest family member....

We are all doing well & completely in love!
