We are so excited to share that the Letko family is growing....we can't wait to welcome our newest addition in February 2014!!

How on earth did my baby boy get so big?!?! It makes me so happy & a little bit sad all at the same time!!

Wilderness Walk!

As my days with Kaleb are getting to be fewer & fewer, we are trying to squeeze in as much fun as we possibly can. This week we headed down to Hayward with a few friends to check out Wilderness Walk. It was a ton of fun...it's like an animal park and a zoo all in one. There was a place where kids can pet animals-- Kaleb pet a fox!, there were animals like goats & sheep roaming around that you could feed, and then there were animals like bears and a cougar locked tightly away in cages!

Kaleb had no fear & loved feeding the goats & sheep corn. He would hold out his hand and they would walk right up and eat it. It was too cute! He even fed a camel!!

We had such a fun day....how is summer almost over?!?!

Lovin' Summer!

The Letko's have been soaking up every single wonderful second of summer! Since returning from our early summer travels, we have been taking advantage of all the fun the Northland has to offer during our few short months of glorious weather (except for this past weekend of fall-like temps!)

Kaleb & I usually walk every day with a couple of my friends & their kids. After that, we just go where the wind takes us :) Some days we go to open gym at the gymnastics center, some days we check out a new playground, & we have spent a couple of days down in Canal Park throwing rocks in Lake Superior and strolling the board walk. Life is so good when you can play all day!!

This past weekend we were in the Cities to celebrate birthdays & Kaleb got his first delicious bites of Panino's :)

Happy Anniversary!

How have Joe & I been married for FIVE YEARS?!?! It seems like just yesterday that we were walking down the aisle....and now we have a new house, a handsome little boy, a dog....CRAZY!!

To celebrate our 5 years of wedded bliss, we booked a trip to Chicago to have some quality Joe & Sarah time. We stayed with my college roommate and her husband for two nights and then spent the last two nights of our trip in a hotel right on the Chicago River!

We packed our days full-- Chicago deep dish pizza, walking the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, Buckingham Fountain, and an awesome boat tour!! We had so much fun!! It was also great to spend time with Kim, Adam, & Heather :)

Happy Anniversary Babe....can't wait for the many, many amazing years to come!! Love you!!

PS- As wonderful & amazing as vacation was....we couldn't get home fast enough on Sunday. We missed our handsome little boy so, so much. Thanks Dad & Mom and Tom & Ann for watching him while we were away!!

Summer Blues....

My poor little man came down with Hand Foot & Mouth disease (darn germs!) He 

was struggling this weekend....fever & rash...but seems to be on the mend today!

As I type this he's been napping for going on 6 hours!!
