Bentleyville 2013!

Last night we made the annual trip to Bentleyville-- a huge Christmas light display in Canal Park!! It was so great taking Kaleb this year. He loved it-- he walked through the whole display, pointing out different things. He especially liked when the Mickey Clubhouse characters sang the 12 Days of Christmas. It was packed full of people so we didn't stop to visit Santa....but all Kaleb kept saying when we left was "I go back! I go back!" So we'll definitely head back & gut in the rest of the fun :)

Workin' Man!!

Well, I cleaned when I was a kid, but I think Kaleb's got me beat. He LOVES to "help Mommy!" Usually he swiffers the floor when I'm done but today he asked to do it out of the blue. He happily swiffered away while I made lunch-- good work kid!!

Trick or Treat!

Kaleb LOVED Halloween :) 

It was a pretty crummy night so we thought we would just hit the 3 houses on our street & be done. Well, my little cow & his construction worker buddy were trick or treat champions!! They trekked up & down streets for over an hour. Kaleb ran up to each door, knocked, and said trick or treat as soon as someone answered. In true toddler fashion- he dug his hand into each bucket pulling out the piece of candy he wanted! Thank goodness all of our neighbors were good sports :) He was basically dragging his bucket behind him by the end....but he was smiling the entire way! I'd say it was a successful evening :)

We had an absolutely beautiful morning today! I spruced my big boy up & headed to the park to get some shots of my boy. 

I think I was successful...

It's a good thing we've got a new little babe on the way, Kaleb is definitely not a baby anymore!! For his cooperation he got to go play at the "Wee" & a cookie at the grocery store (he's already manipulating me)!!

Boo at the Zoo!

Kaleb got his first taste of Halloween...& loved it!! We went to Boo at the Zoo today- the zoo has all sorts of fun: candy stations, pumpkin patches, hay rides, animals, & friends. Kaleb walked up to every vendor saying "trick or treat!" It was adorable. 

The only bummer was adults dressed in full costumes (mascot like)....HATED them! He'd turn & run the other direction saying "No more Mommy!"

I can't wait for Halloween night-- he's going to have a ball :)

PS- my little boy is obsessed with Mickey, yet he wouldn't get within 10 feet of inflate-able Mickey!
